Our G10 tactical grips are made for tough, practical use. G10 is a tough, high performance composite, often used in aerospace applications. G10 is made with thin sheets of fiberglass soaked in resin--that can be dyed to give the different colors-- that are then pressed together and cured under high pressure and heat . We then machine the grips out of the sheets. G10 is hard, tough, and difficult to machine. But grips made of G10 are virtually indestructible and will not fail under extreme circumstances.
We have made G10 grips--tens of thousands of G10 grips-- for the handgun manufacturers over the past 10+ years. We took the G10 handle idea from the custom knife makers and applied it to pistol grips. We were the first to introduce G10 into the firearms industry around 2007. The material has come a long way since then.
After machining, we texture the tactical grips. By variations in the machined or lasered lines we can change the coarseness of the feel or "bite". This allows for flexible functionality that might center on casual shooting, maybe sweaty palms, at one level up to competition requirements, absolute foundational stability.
